The Gerson Grind is a Lexie Gerson Basketball group training program unlike any other!
The Gerson Grind, (now in it's 6th season) returns this fall. The program is designed to prepare serious players to compete at his/her highest level. The Gerson Grind is offered twice a year. The Fall Gerson Grind aims to prepare for High School basketball preseason, while the Spring Gerson Grind is designed to prep for the rigorous and immensely competitive Grind of AAU basketball. Expect a to “grind” in every capacity of the word. The Gerson Grind curriculum consists of agility, footwork, movement training, on court skill development, conditioning, leadership, mental conditioning & sports development.
Nobody likes getting in shape but, everybody loves being in shape! This Fall 2022, we will set the tone, the culture, the expectations, and the all-around grind mentality, embracing the preseason grind and taking it to the next level. We will focus on the process and all the day-to-day aspects of what it takes to be a champion on and off the court. “Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, other make it happen.” Success is never given but, always earned. Good things happen to those who grind!
Every "Grind" consists of multiple group sessions, which will be held on consecutive days of the week. Every session will have an agility, conditioning, and basketball skill work segment within it. Each session within a Grind will have a different curriculum themes to optimize all areas of the game for the upcoming season. The last session in every GRIND will emphasize the mental aspect of the game. Our Guest Coach experts will teach the group mental techniques and then help the athletes implement new mental skills on the court the rest of the session!
